Conness A. Thompson is admitted to practice in the State of California, where she focuses her practice on criminal and civil appeals. Her experience has exposed her to all sides of the appellate process: The appellant (Central California Appellate Program), the respondent (CA Office of the Attorney General), and the court (CA Court of Appeal, 1st District).
Ms. Thompson graduated with distinction from the McGeorge School of Law at the University of the Pacific. Her honors include: Order of the Barristers (excellence in written and oral advocacy), Dean's Honor List (3 years), Traynor Honor Society (academic achievement).
While in law school, Ms. Thompson competed in several moot court competitions, including finishing second nationally in the prestigious American Bar Association National Appellate Advocacy Competition. In addition, she was chairperson of McGeorge's Moot Court Honor Society.
